Nicole has over 10 years’ experience working with young people in a care setting. Nicole is a Registered Social Worker with Social Work England as well as the International Federation of Social Workers (IFSW). She possesses vast experience in the following areas:
  • adult , children and adolescents services
  • supervising supported living facilities
  • safeguarding procedures
  • report writing
  • working as a support worker in different settings
  • providing psycho-social support to clients
  • counselling
  • group therapy developing and overseeing treatment plans for clients
  • carrying out routine visits to assess client’s needs
  • advising family caregivers
  • participating in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • liaising with multiple agencies involved in a looked after young person’s life and following up inquiries
  • consulting with doctors, therapists and medical professionals
  • communicating with non-verbal and verbal service recipients Nicole has a strong desire to make a positive difference in young people’s lives
Her roles within the various communities that she worked with have aided her to acquire a high degree of accuracy; integrity and the ability to lead and contribute well to a team. Subsequently Nicole is able to identify the needs and challenges that service recipients and service user groups encounter on a day to day basis. She has the proven ability to work within an interdisciplinary team and also has highly developed interpersonal skills and strong professional relationships with clients, families and community groups. Nicole has also contributed towards – AIMS3 Assessments, She is Parent Assess trained, Completed Mental Capacity Assessments.
